We are looking for Lecturer/Senior Lecturer with strengths in the sociology of health (with an Aotearoa focus) and interests in areas including disaster sociology, migration and/or sustainability.
You will achieve and maintain high international standards in teaching and research, and if applicable, maintain and develop collaborations and partnerships with local communities – including iwi and hapū, organisations and institutions. You will be encouraged to develop a strong, externally funded research programme, and help support the programme’s continued international and national relevance in the discipline. You will be expected to collaborate with other academics in the programme’s teaching and research activities, and contribute to initiatives that foster interdisciplinarity across the University. In this position, you will also supervise final year undergraduate projects, Masters and PhD students, and to contribute to the Department, College, and University activities.
